CAST OFF
So, the exciting news of the day is that they took that wretched cast off my arm. i must say i absolutely hate that whirring thing that they swear does not cut you but then why does it feel like its sinking through your skin when it touches you? she kept trying to get the other nurse to touch the whirring loud thing and both of us looked sick at the thought.
my skin is like clay. its almost a different color since its old. there was a massive down pour yesterday and i forgot to cover the cast for a brief moment and i think that almost molded me. gross.
i'm also reading the latest harry potter, and i feel angry that i must do anything but read.
the doc said i still have a few weeks to go in this new brace, which is removable, and then i can start PT. i've already started however and my typing skills are still there. thank goodness.
i get to go to the minnesota historical society to research a defunct arts organization called Film in the Cities on thursday, and i'm really excited about it. a field trip. i'll of course bring a sack lunch as i sift through 9 boxes of records.
